Guano quality

The quality of bat droppings depends on the type of cave rock, the feeding habits of bats, the age of the fertiliser and mineralisation over the years. The main factor is the bats' diet - some are vegetarians (feeding mainly on fruit), others are carnivorous (insects and small animals), which affects the amount of nitrogen in the final product. The colour of the guano may vary without affecting the quality of the growing medium.

Dosage

• Pot growing: mix Bat Guano with soil in a ratio of 1:20, mix well. For maximum effect, combine with Mega Worm (worm humus).
• Outdoor sowing: lightly work 20 litres of Bat Guano into an area of approx. 100 m2.
• Application by watering: 2 l of fermented guano per 100 l of water, dose in a ratio of 1:50.

Combination with substrate

Bat Guano can also be added to main soil mixes such as Growmix, Allmix or Batmix (which already contains guano), or with Supermix.
