pH Perfect Grow is the growth component of the three-part base Grow-Micro-Bloom system from Advanced Nutrients. It is intended for growers in hydroponics and other systems who want precisely controlled nutrition during vegetative growth with automatic pH adjustment.

Grow controls vegetative growth - but does not work on its own

The three-part system consists of Micro, Grow and Bloom, and all three are dosed together. Grow (NPK 1-0-4) mainly boosts potassium during vegetative growth, but complete nutrition is only created together with Micro, which carries the basic micronutrients and nitrogen, and with Bloom. They are mixed in the fixed order Micro, Grow, Bloom, each component separately into water. You can conveniently get the whole trio in the pH Perfect Grow-Bloom-Micro 3x5 l set.

How pH Perfect works

The pH Perfect technology keeps the pH of the solution automatically in the range of 5.5 to 6.3 (typically around 5.6) for at least a week, so manual pH adjustment is not needed. This is handled by a trio of synergistic substances and zwitterionic chelates, which bind nutrients across a wide pH range and act as a safeguard against nutrient lockout. The system is therefore forgiving even for less experienced growers.

Dosing and mixing

Add the components to the solution in the order Micro, Grow, Bloom, each separately and mix well. During vegetative growth, the dose is gradually increased from 1 ml per litre in the first week to 4 ml per litre in the fourth week. Shake the bottle before use. The system is suitable for hydroponics, aeroponics, drip irrigation, NFT and other continuous systems, and is safe for coco too.

When and with what to use

Support plant start-up with the root trio Voodoo Juice, Piranha and Tarantula. After switching to flowering, feed the system with the booster Big Bud, and at the end of the cycle use the flush Flawless Finish. You can find other base fertilisers in the Advanced Nutrients category.

Frequently asked questions

Is Grow alone enough during vegetative growth?
No. Grow (NPK 1-0-4) is only one of the three components and mainly boosts potassium. Complete nutrition is only created together with Micro and Bloom, which provide micronutrients, nitrogen and phosphorus. All three components are mixed at the same time in the order Micro, Grow, Bloom. Grow on its own would not provide the plant with a balanced nutrient ratio.

In what order should the components be added to water?
Always Micro first, then Grow and finally Bloom. Add each component separately and mix it well before adding the next one. Never combine concentrates directly with each other, as this would cause nutrients to precipitate. This order ensures that the chelates bind the nutrients correctly and the plant can use them without problems.

Is Grow also used during flowering?
Yes. The three-part Grow-Micro-Bloom system is used as a whole throughout the entire cycle - in vegetative growth and in flowering, all three components are mixed together, only the ratio and dose change according to the stage. During vegetative growth you increase the dose from 1 to 4 ml per litre, while in flowering it is kept at around 4 ml per litre for roughly seven weeks.
