Who It Is For

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the pH pen have automatic temperature compensation?
No. Only the EC/ppm pen has automatic temperature compensation. The pH pen does not have temperature compensation – it measures pH and temperature, but does not compensate for temperature. Calibration, on the other hand, is only required for the pH pen – two-point calibration using pH 4.0 and 7.0 solutions; the EC/ppm pen is factory calibrated and user calibration is not necessary. Solutions for both are included in the Probe Care Kit.
