HERCULES pots are highly unusual pots designed for excellent root system development. Thanks to the reinforced upper part, provided the optimal amount of soil is used, they are very easy to handle and can be stored or moved without any problem, and there is no risk of distortion.

The expansion of the root system is one of the main reasons for container degradation and loss of elasticity. To prevent these disruptions caused by growing root masses, the pots are equipped with an uneven base and protrusions on the inner side, which distribute the force of the roots.

Excess water is the main cause of root rot and the creation of an unfavourable environment in the soil. Thanks to drainage holes around the entire perimeter, this problem is completely eliminated. The drainage of excess water is also facilitated by the unique construction of the pot base.

Ideal water supply is a problem due to the specific needs of different plant species and the many types of pots and irrigation systems available on the market. Proper watering is, however, also a guarantee of health and quality, which is why HERCULES pots are made in a perforated design so as to maintain aeration within the ideal range to support root growth. The root system can expand until the final stages of the plant's life cycle, while at the same time its growth out of the pot is limited. The holes are positioned to ensure even radial root growth and prevent their coiling and twisting, which could complicate repotting and prevent the plant from taking up nutrients evenly.

Of course, it is necessary to use a substrate that itself allows oxygen to pass through to the roots - coconut fibre is ideal.
