HERCULES pots are highly distinctive pots designed for excellent root system development. Thanks to the reinforced upper section, they are very easy to handle when the optimum amount of soil is used, and can be stored or moved without any problems, with no risk of distortion.

The expansion of the root system is one of the main causes of container degradation and loss of elasticity. To prevent damage to the pot caused by growing root masses, they feature an uneven base and projections along the inside, which distribute the force of the roots.

Excess water is the main cause of root rot and the development of an unfavourable soil environment. Drainage holes around the entire circumference completely eliminate this problem. The drainage of excess water is further facilitated by the unique design of the pot base.

Providing the ideal amount of water is difficult due to the specific needs of different plant species and the many types of pots and irrigation systems available on the market. Correct irrigation is also a guarantee of health and quality, which is why HERCULES pots are made in a perforated design to maintain aeration within the ideal range to support root growth. The root system can expand until the final stages of the plant's life cycle, while its growth outside the pot is restricted. The holes are positioned to ensure even radial root growth and prevent roots from twisting and becoming distorted, which could complicate transplanting and prevent the plant from absorbing nutrients evenly.

It is, of course, necessary to use a substrate that allows oxygen to reach the roots by itself - coconut fibre is ideal.
