Product detailed description
Broccoli seed sprouts are a source of the most valuable nutrients for the body: vitamins A, C, B1, B2, PP, trace elements (calcium, iron, phosphorus, magnesium), enzymes and other supportive components. The most valuable substance in broccoli is sulforaphane - an anti-cancer substance, which the sprouts contain 200 times more of than mature broccoli. Broccoli sprouts have a spicy taste and are ideal for salads and sandwiches.
Broccoli in the form of microgreens fully replaces the taste of broccoli florets.
The taste is mildly sweet. Broccoli grows a little more slowly than radish, but it is definitely worth growing. Broccoli in the form of microgreens contains a high amount of vitamins, minerals and enzymes.
We harvest it at the stage of two cotyledons.
Germination time: 2 to 3 days, then expose to light
Harvest time: 7th - 12th day

Suitable for salads, spreads, soups, as a garnish, for pesto, pasta, risotto.
Broccoli grows well hydroponically and in soil or with the use of hydroponic fertiliser. If sown too densely, it may tend to start rotting, especially if grown in a warm, humid room - especially during the summer months. In summer, it is therefore better not to sow the seeds completely densely.
