400V operation and dual spectrum

Single-ended vs double-ended (DE)

This version is single-ended (E40). There is also a double-ended (DE) 600W 400V version, which has a different type of cap and fits into a DE reflector - do not confuse them when choosing a ballast and reflector. You can fit this single-ended version into an E40 reflector, such as Lumatek Xenon 2; for a smaller area, the Lumatek 400W HPS Dual Spectrum lamp will do.
