Irrigatia solar irrigation systems can take care of plants even during a holiday, but like any technology they sometimes need a new filter, fresh batteries or simply more drippers when the garden grows. In this section you will therefore find complete accessories and spare parts to keep your irrigation in good condition and easily adapt it to changing needs.
What you will find in the accessories
The range covers all parts of the system that are commonly replaced or added:
- Drippers and expansion kits - cleanable IRR-DRV3 drippers as well as complete Dripper kits of 12 or 20 pieces for expanding the irrigated area.
- Hoses - 4 mm extension tubes, flat irrigation hoses and Micro-Porous seep hoses with Dupont Tyvek for even watering along the full length.
- Tanks and pumps - an automatic tank with float as well as submersible pumps for the Tank range, allowing you to draw water from a larger source.
- Batteries and filters - replacement rechargeable AA batteries for control units and tank filters that protect the drippers from clogging.
How to choose the right part
The key is the type of your control unit. Dripper expansion kits differ depending on whether you have the smaller SOL-C12 and SOL-C24 unit, or the more powerful SOL-C60, C120 and C180. Replacement submersible pumps are also available in versions for the original and newer Tank range (identified by the batch number). The rechargeable batteries are intended for C60 and C120 units. Before ordering a part, check the designation on your unit - this will help you avoid an incompatible item.
Frequently asked questions
How do I know which dripper belongs to my Irrigatia?
Follow the model of the control unit. Kits for SOL-C12 and SOL-C24 have a different number and type of drippers than kits for the C60 to C180 range. The updated IRR-DRV3 dripper is universal and suitable for all Irrigatia products.
How often should batteries and the filter be replaced?
The rechargeable batteries are charged from the solar panel and last for many seasons, but over time they lose capacity - when irrigation weakens, it is time for new ones. Check the tank filter regularly and clean or replace it as soon as it starts to clog, to prevent the drippers from blocking.
Can I expand the system to a larger area?
Yes, that is exactly what the Dripper expansion kits, extension hoses and Micro-Porous seep hose are for, and it can irrigate up to 25 m2. You can add them gradually as the garden grows.
Does Irrigatia need electricity?
No. The entire system is powered by a solar panel and rechargeable batteries, so it works even where there is no mains connection - you only add spare parts and consumables.
