Irrigatia irrigation sets are automatic solar systems that water plants without mains water or an electrical connection. They are powered by a solar cell and a controlled pump draws water from any tank - for example from a rainwater barrel. They are suitable for balconies, terraces, gardens and plots, simply anywhere you want watering taken care of automatically.
How Irrigatia works
The system responds to the weather: the more the sun shines, the more often and the more it waters; in cloudy weather, it waters less. At night it switches off. The newer Q generation (for example SOL-C18Q and SOL-C36Q) adjusts the watering dose to the intensity of sunlight even more precisely, so plants get water when they really need it, without your intervention. The set usually includes a solar panel, pump, irrigation hose, drippers, connectors and rechargeable batteries.
How to choose the right model
The models differ in capacity, which Irrigatia states as the number of watered twenty-litre pots:
- SOL-C12 - a smaller set for a balcony and a few window boxes; the most popular entry-level choice.
- SOL-C60 - for larger beds and more containers at once.
- SOL-C120 - can water up to 120 twenty-litre pots.
- SOL-C180 - the highest capacity for large areas and demanding growers.

Frequently asked questions
Does Irrigatia work without electricity and mains water?
Yes. The system is powered by a solar cell and draws water from any tank, so it needs neither a socket nor a water connection.
Where does it take water from?
From any container you place higher or lower than the plants - typically a rainwater barrel, jerry can or barrel.
How many plants can one set handle?
Depending on the model: from a few window boxes with the SOL-C12 to 120 twenty-litre pots with the SOL-C120. Capacity can be increased by buying additional drippers.
Does it water even when I am not at home?
That is exactly why it was created. Once set up, it works on its own and responds to the weather, so it is ideal for holidays as well as everyday balcony use.
