Hesi - Dosage table
How should you dose HESI fertilisers? Here is the proven procedure!
- Dose HESI fertilisers according to the table, taking into account the developmental stage the plant is in.
- The dosage depends on the fertiliser range you have chosen according to the growing method and substrate.
- You have 3 tables available. It depends on whether you are growing in soil, in coco, or are engaged in hydroponics. The values given in millilitres indicate the amount of fertiliser intended to be dissolved in 10 litres of water.
- All tables are divided, in terms of the plant’s development during the growing cycle, into the growth phase, which lasts 2 weeks and is preceded by the clone phase, and the flowering phase lasting 7 weeks, which is followed by an 8. week devoted to so-called flushing.
- By flushing the plants during the eighth week with only clean water without nutrients, you will achieve exceptionally healthy fruits with excellent taste, as no residues of salts or other undesirable substances will remain in the harvest.
- For indoor cultivation in a grow box, all three tables also include a column with the recommended light duration. It is always located at the very bottom.
- Dosing fertiliser according to the manufacturer’s instructions minimises the risk of over-fertilisation. Nevertheless, we recommend continuously checking how the plants are doing during the growing cycle, as each of them has its own individual needs.
- Our TIP: For better watering and improved nutrient management, it is worth using filters and reverse osmosis units Growmax.
When to add and when to reduce?
- You may temporarily reduce the intensity of fertilisation if you notice typical symptoms associated with an excess of nutrients. These are most often indicated by yellowing leaves, spots on their edges, or a white surface on the substrate.
- If you notice that the plant, on the contrary, has a lack of nutrients, it is advisable to start fertilising a little more. If the plant is growing unhealthy slowly and its leaves are smaller than is usual for the given species, it is probably undernourished. In such a case, you can try increasing the intensity of fertilisation and observe whether this has a positive effect on the plant and it begins to do better.
SOIL
Clone:
- Immediately after planting the young plant, apply 25 ml of universal soil fertiliser TNT Complex.
- Right from the start or, for example, during transplant stress, your plants will also benefit greatly from the root booster Root Complex. Therefore, apply it in an amount of 50 ml.
- For every 4.5 litres of water, just 1 drop of the booster Supervit, which will give your plants much more energy thanks to the content of 25 vitalising substances. Add Supervit to the watering in the stated ratio until the end of the growing cycle.
- Do not forget to dose the enzymatic preparation Powerzyme in an amount of 20 ml as well. We also recommend using this product once or twice a week together with the base nutrition and booster, throughout the entire growing cycle.
Growth:
- During the 2-week growth phase, continue applying TNT Complex, but double its dose to 50 ml.
- Dose Root Complex, SuperVit and PowerZym in the same way as before.
Flowering:
- Use Root Complex only during the first week of flowering; you will not need it afterwards.
- Instead, it is time for the universal fertiliser for the flowering phase Bloom Complex, in an amount of 50 ml until the end of the growing cycle.
- Starting from the fourth week of the flowering phase, also add the fertiliser Fosfor Plus to the watering.
- Dose SuperVit and PowerZym in the same way as before.

COCO
The dosing of fertilisers for growing in coco substrates is the same as when growing in soil substrates. There are only two differences:
- During the flowering phase, use HESI Coco 50 ml as the base nutrition.
- From the fourth week of flowering, apply the supplementary fertiliser PK 13/14, in gradually increasing doses. Start in the fourth week of the flowering phase with a dose of 2.5 ml and with each following week double the dose from the previous week (max. 15 ml in week 7), except for flushing in the eighth week.

HYDRO
The dosing of fertilisers in hydroponic systems is the same as when growing in coco. There is only one difference:
- During the flowering phase, use the universal hydroponic fertiliser HESI Hydro Květ as the base nutrition in a dose of 50 ml.
