In the second half of flowering, the consumption of phosphorus and potassium increases - the plant invests more and more energy into the formation of fruits and seeds, and the basic dose from the fertiliser may no longer be enough.

Why phosphorus and potassium in the final stage of flowering

Phosphorus serves as a building block in the formation of genetic material, of which a large amount is needed during flowering. Potassium, in turn, controls the movement of water and nutrients from the roots to the leaves, affects CO2 uptake and has a significant effect on photosynthesis. Hesi Phosphorus Plus is a PK fertiliser in a ratio of 7-5.

Dosing and inclusion in the programme

Dose 25 ml per 10 l of water always together with Bloom Complex, never on its own. Apply it from the second half of the flowering phase, or at the moment when flowering visibly slows down - there is no need for it earlier, because the PK content in Bloom Complex is sufficient until then and its premature excess could hinder the uptake of other minerals. It is suitable for growing in soil, both indoors and outdoors. For coco or hydroponics, the analogous booster in the range is PK 13/14.

Phosphorus Plus is part of the Hesi fertilisers range and complements it with targeted PK support in the final stage of flowering.
