Roots grow continuously and constantly replace old root hairs with new ones - but their dead remnants remain in the substrate and can gradually contaminate it, especially in smaller containers.

How Hesi PowerZyme works

The main ingredient is a biotechnologically obtained enzyme extract from the fungus Trichoderma. These enzymes break down dead parts of the plant made of cellulose into their basic building blocks - sugar molecules, which serve as food for both the plant and the microorganisms in the substrate. The result is a cleaner medium with better access to oxygen for the roots.

Dosage and use

Apply 20 ml per 10 l of water and use continuously throughout the entire growing cycle so that the medium remains clean. PowerZyme is a booster - combine it with a basic fertiliser programme, for example with TNT Complex during growth or with Bloom Complex during flowering, or with Root Complex for young plants.

It is suitable for soil, coco and hydroponics, in both the growth and flowering stages.
