When a 150mm circulator is not enough for your tent

CLOUDRAY A9 is a clip-on circulation fan with a 225 mm impeller diameter - a larger version compared with the 150mm A6 model, with a higher maximum airflow of 405 CFM (688 m3/h). It is designed for larger grow tents and rooms where a smaller 150mm circulator would not be enough to move the entire air volume. It attaches with a metal clamp directly to the tent pole; it is a circulation device, not an extract fan.

One strong stream, firmly directed

The airflow direction on the A9 is adjusted exclusively manually - by rotating the mount within a 90° range and tilting the head within a 55° range. The fan therefore keeps one selected direction until you readjust it manually; CLOUDRAY A9 does not have motorised oscillation.

Speed control and Dynamic Wind

It offers 10 digitally adjustable speeds and 10 dynamic wind modes (Dynamic Wind), which simulate variable outdoor airflow. Controls are located directly on the fan body.

EC motor

A brushless EC motor with carbon steel gears and double ball bearings drives the 225mm impeller at a noise level of 35 dBA. The IP-54 rating protects the device against moisture and heat.

Optional UIS control

CLOUDRAY A9 is part of the UIS™ platform. The fan cable can be connected to the UIS port of a smart controller, for example the Controller 69 Pro (sold separately), and gain control via the AC Infinity WiFi app, climate triggers, timers and advanced automation in addition to manual control on the fan body.

Frequently asked questions

How do I know whether I need 6" (A6) or 9" (A9)?
A9 has a larger 225 mm impeller compared with 150 mm on the A6 and a higher maximum airflow (405 CFM/688 m3/h compared with 325 CFM/552 m3/h), at the cost of slightly higher noise (35 dBA compared with 31 dBA). It is suitable where the smaller A6 is not enough to move the air throughout the whole space.

Where should CLOUDRAY A9 be placed in a grow tent?
The fan is clipped to the tent pole and manually set by rotation (90°) and tilt (55°) into the required direction - typically so that the stream points to places the main extract system does not reach.

Can CLOUDRAY A9 be controlled from a mobile app?
There is only manual control directly on the fan body. For app control via AC Infinity (WiFi/Bluetooth), the fan must be connected to a UIS smart controller, for example the Controller 69 Pro, which is purchased separately.
