SAFRAX Cleaning Tablets – pack of 500

SAFRAX are cleaning and disinfecting tablets based on chlorine dioxide (Chlorine Dioxide, ClO₂). At room temperature, chlorine dioxide is a yellow-green gas soluble in water. It offers a broad spectrum of antiviral and antimicrobial uses, including drinking water disinfection.

Thanks to its properties, it is used in healthcare to disinfect instruments, surfaces and rooms, as well as in the food industry for treating fruit and vegetables. It effectively eliminates fungi, viruses, algae and bacteria. It leaves no hazardous residues and, depending on the method of application, does not require subsequent rinsing.

The pack contains 500 SAFRAX cleaning tablets.

Use in agriculture and professional growing systems

Irrigation systems

• Flushing and sterilisation of the irrigation system: 1 tablet per 1–2 litres of water.
• Regular addition to the tank: 1 tablet per 100 litres of water before applying the watering solution or every 3 days to a pre-prepared nutrient solution.
• Helps keep the irrigation system and growing medium clean and plant roots healthy.
• In the event of higher algae contamination, the dosage can be increased to up to 5 tablets per 100 litres of water without negatively affecting nutrient availability.

Plant treatment by spraying

• Acute treatment: 1 tablet per 2 litres of water. Eliminates powdery mildew and other microbial infestations of plants. It can be applied throughout the entire development cycle, including the flowering phase and, if necessary, after harvest.
• Preventive treatment: 1 tablet per 20 litres of water. Serves as prevention against powdery mildew, grey mould and other fungal diseases.

Disinfection of growing equipment

• Work tools: 5 tablets per 1 litre of water. Suitable for disinfecting gardening shears and other tools used when working with plants.
• Growing equipment: 1 tablet per 1 litre of water. Effectively cleans and sterilises growing equipment without negatively affecting its material.

Air and equipment sterilisation in grow rooms

SAFRAX tablets can also be used to treat air and technology in growing areas. They enable the disinfection of air conditioners, dehumidifiers, humidifiers and air-handling systems.

• Help eliminate microorganisms in the air and on surfaces.
• Suitable for preventing moulds in drying rooms.
• Can also be used in areas containing plants.

Post-harvest product treatment

In the event of microbial contamination, the SAFRAX solution can also be used to directly treat harvested plant material. According to the supplied information, the application can be carried out without negatively affecting the quality of the resulting product.
