It has been more than 30 years since Can-Filters produced its first units. Since then, development has not stopped, and in our range you will find its absolute peak. It reliably removes unpleasant odours, whatever their source - the filters are used in grow rooms, greenhouses, kitchens and industrial plants. Thousands and thousands of growers cannot praise these filters enough - in our view, quite rightly.
Choose a modern odour filter from three product ranges.
The absolute classic is the Can-Original filter. It is characterised by excellent service life (up to 24-30 months!) and a thick layer of activated carbon with such good filtration properties that it practically has no competitor. They are made from hardened plastic or have a sturdy steel construction. Each filter is protected by a multi-layer pre-filter. Inside you will find high-quality CKV 3-4 mm carbon in a layer that is 2.5 - 6.5 cm thick depending on the filter capacity.
The Can-Lite filters are not far behind. Inside their lightweight metal construction with aluminium ends, you will find granulated Australian carbon in a 2.5-5 cm thick layer. Together with an effective pre-filter, this high-quality carbon reliably adsorbs odours for up to 18 months! The special lightweight carbon helps reduce the overall weight of the filter, which means it places much less load on the tent frame or room ceiling without compromising on quality.
In the Can-Lite category you will also find Can Inline filters with a metal casing, which can also be placed outside the growing space - they can clean air on both extract and intake.
Can-Special filters are among the most widely used odour filters in their country of origin. And for good reason: the filters are lightweight despite having a high-quality metal shell and a thick layer of activated carbon, and they reliably remove odours for up to 18 months.

Frequently asked questions
Which Can filter should I choose - Original, Lite, or Special?
Choose Original when you want maximum service life and do not mind the higher weight - it has the thickest carbon layer. Lite and Special are lightweight ranges that place less load on the tent frame and are suitable when you hang the filter from the box bars. All three reliably neutralise odours; the main difference is the balance between durability and weight.
How long does a carbon filter last?
For the Can-Original range, the stated service life is approximately 24 to 30 months, while the Can-Lite and Can-Special ranges last about 18 months. Actual durability depends on air humidity, load and whether the carbon gets damp - therefore do not operate the filter in persistently high humidity and protect it with a pre-filter.
How do I correctly size a filter for a fan?
The filter should have the same or slightly higher airflow (m3/h) than the fan and the same flange. An undersised filter creates resistance and reduces extract, so it is better to choose a capacity with a reserve. Can Inline inline filters can also be connected outside the tent.
