Can-Lite odour filters with an optimal airflow of 150 m³/h are a special lightweight range of filters from Can Filters, which specialises in filtering unwanted odours using activated carbon. This range is characterised by its low weight, thanks to the lightweight activated carbon (1 l of activated carbon weighs 260 g) and small dimensions.

CAN-Lite odour filters are filled with special lightweight carbon CKG 48 quality. This carbon filter has a 2.5 centimetre carbon bed. The biggest advantage is the reduced weight and, compared with the CAN-Original and CAN-Special ranges, also the lower price. The high density of activated carbon guarantees standard adsorption and perfect air filtration from unpleasant odours.

The service life of the filter filling is approx. 24 months depending on the environment. For the effectiveness of the activated carbon odour filter to be correct, it is important to choose the right type of activated carbon and activation process. Controlled coarseness and high porosity of the activated carbon allow even airflow and capture more than 99% of unwanted odours.

CAN-Lite filters with lower capacity are not supplied together with the flange; it needs to be ordered separately.

Calculation for selecting the suitable filter
We calculate the air volume in the room by multiplying the room length (m) by the room width (m) and the ceiling height (m).
For example: A room 4 m long, 3 m wide and 2 m high => 4 x 3 x 2 = 24 m3
We multiply the resulting air volume by 60 (i.e. the number of minutes per hour), which tells us how much air needs to be purified in 1 hour.
We compare the result with the maximum output of the selected filter. If its max. output is higher than our result, the filter is sufficient for the given space.

You can use a 100 mm flange or a 125 mm flange with the filter.
