Practical tips for use

To achieve the best results, adjust the amount of watering to the size of the plant, the growing container and the surrounding conditions, such as temperature and light intensity.

• Irrigation: Mature, fast-growing plants can consume 4-6 litres of water per m2 per day under standard conditions.
• Pot size: For larger plants, we recommend using containers with a volume of at least 5 litres so that the root ball remains stable.
• Drainage: To ensure optimal drainage of excess water and prevent root rot, you can place a thin layer of expanded clay or perlite at the bottom of the pot.
• Recycling: After the end of the growing cycle, the substrate can be used excellently as a quality additive for garden beds or compost.

What to fertilise the substrate with

Terra Professional is a lightly pre-fertilised substrate for growing in soil, so it is supplemented with fertilisers from the Canna Terra range: in the growth phase Canna Terra Vega, in the flowering phase Canna Terra Flores. The root system will be supported from the start by Canna Rhizotonic and a healthy environment in the substrate will be maintained by the enzymatic preparation Canna Cannazym.
