CANNA Terra Professional Plus is a premium growing substrate designed for growers who demand only the best. This 100% biological mix was developed specifically for indoor cultivation, but it also achieves excellent results outdoors. It is the ideal choice for growing a wide range of annual plants, such as tomatoes, chilli peppers, herbs or strawberries, providing them with the perfect environment for healthy growth and flowering.

The base consists of high-quality, airy peat supplemented with special types of tree bark, which has natural antiseptic effects. As a result, plants are more resistant to stress, diseases and pests from the very beginning.

How to use the substrate

Adjust the amount of watering to the size of the plants, growing conditions (temperature, light) and the size of the pot. Mature and fast-growing plants can, under standard conditions, consume 4-6 litres of water per m2 per day. For larger plants, we recommend using pots with a volume of at least 5 litres.

When using in self-watering systems (run-to-waste), ensure sufficient drainage. You can place a thin layer of expanded clay or perlite at the bottom of the pot to ensure ideal drainage of excess water. After the cycle ends, the substrate can be used as a quality additive to garden soil or compost.

What to fertilise the substrate with

The substrate contains trace elements and chelates for the initial growth stage; it is then supplemented with fertilisers from the Canna Terra range: in the growth stage Canna Terra Vega, in the flowering stage Canna Terra Flores. The root system will be supported by Canna Rhizotonic and a healthy environment in the substrate will be maintained by the enzymatic preparation Canna Cannazym.
