CANNA Terra Professional Plus is a premium growing substrate designed for growers who demand only the best. This 100% biological mix was developed especially for growing in indoor conditions, but it also achieves excellent results outdoors. It is an ideal choice for growing a wide range of annual plants, such as tomatoes, chili peppers, herbs or strawberries, providing them with the perfect environment for healthy growth and flowering.

The base consists of high-quality, airy peat supplemented with special types of tree bark, which have natural antiseptic properties. As a result, plants are more resistant to stress, diseases and pests from the very beginning.

How to use the substrate

Adjust the amount of watering to the size of the plants, growing conditions (temperature, light) and the size of the plant pot. Under standard conditions, mature and fast-growing plants may consume 4-6 litres of water per m² per day. For larger plants, we recommend using plant pots with a capacity of at least 5 litres.

When using the substrate in self-watering systems (run-to-waste), ensure sufficient drainage. You can place a thin layer of clay pebbles or perlite at the bottom of the plant pot to ensure ideal drainage of excess water. After the cycle has ended, the substrate can be used as a high-quality addition to garden soil or compost.

What to fertilise the substrate with

The substrate contains trace elements and chelates for the initial growth phase; it should then be supplemented with fertilisers from the Canna Terra range: during the growth phase, Canna Terra Vega, and during the flowering phase, Canna Terra Flores. The root system is supported by Canna Rhizotonic, while a healthy environment in the substrate is maintained by the enzymatic product Canna Cannazym.
