Product detailed description

Canna Mono N 17% - the key to lush vegetative growth and the vitality of your plants

Experience lush growth and vitality in your annual plants with Canna Mono N 17%. This specialised single-component supplement is designed to provide your plants with exactly what they need for robust vegetative development and rapid correction of nitrogen deficiencies.

Why nitrogen is so essential for your plants

Nitrogen (N) is one of the most important macroelements, forming the basis of plant life. It plays a key role in the synthesis of proteins, chlorophyll, vitamins, hormones and enzymes, which are the building blocks for healthy and strong growth. Without a sufficient amount of nitrogen, plants cannot effectively produce new green mass or photosynthesise properly.

Canna Mono N 17% supplies nitrogen in an optimal composition (nitrate and ammonium nitrogen), which is absorbed by the plant quickly and efficiently. This ensures an immediate response and visible improvement in condition, making it ideal for an intensive growth phase or rapid intervention in the event of a deficiency.

Positive effects on your cultivation

Regular use of Canna Mono N 17% during the vegetative phase significantly stimulates leaf development and the overall vitality of plants. Your annuals, tomatoes, chilli peppers, herbs or strawberries will gain a deep green colour and a noticeably stronger structure.

Its versatility is unmatched - you can use it without concern for cultivation in soil (Canna Terra Professional), on coco (Canna Coco Professional Plus) and in hydroponic systems. In addition, nitrogen does not accumulate in the soil, which helps maintain a healthy environment for the root system.

How to recognise nitrogen deficiency

Nitrogen deficiency is shown by the typical yellowing of older, larger leaves (chlorosis), which gradually fade and may fall off. Plants generally show weaker growth, smaller leaves and a less robust structure. In severe deficiency, premature flowering and accelerated ripening may occur, negatively affecting your yields.

With Canna Mono N 17% you can quickly and effectively reverse these symptoms. The liquid form of nitrogen is absorbed by the plant immediately, ensuring rapid help and the restoration of a healthy green colour.

Dosage and use

  • Canna Mono N 17% is added to the nutrient solution during the plant growth period. Monitor the response of your plants and adjust the dosage to their current needs.
  • For general growth support: maximum 2 ml per 1 litre of water.
  • In case of a clear nitrogen deficiency (yellowing leaves): add 1-2 ml per 1 litre of water (or 10-20 ml per 10 litres of water).

Nitrogen is a mineral product and does not cause capillary blockages, so it is suitable for all systems, including drip irrigation. For optimal results, it can be combined with other Canna mono-nutrients, such as Mono P or Mono K.

Technical parameters

  • Nitrogen content (N): 17 % (nitrate nitrogen and ammonium nitrogen)
  • Form: liquid concentrate
  • pH (1:100): 1.5
  • Suitability for growing media: soil, coco, hydroponics and more
  • Absorption speed: immediate

Important notice: nitrogen overfeeding

Although nitrogen is key for plants, too much can be just as harmful as too little. Excessive vegetative growth caused by nitrogen overfeeding can lead to reduced flowering and darkening of the leaves. Always follow the recommended dosage and monitor the response of the plants. If in doubt, the rule 'less is more' applies.

Frequently asked questions

When and how much Canna Mono N should I dose?

How do I recognise nitrogen deficiency?

Typical signs are yellowing of older leaves (chlorosis), weaker growth, smaller leaves and, in severe deficiency, premature flowering.

Is Mono N suitable for all growing media?

Yes, it is a mineral product that does not cause capillary blockages, suitable even for drip irrigation - it can be combined with the bases Terra Professional or Coco Professional Plus.
