Detailed information

Product detailed description

Canna Mono Potassium - the key to lush flowers and strong fruits

Canna Mono Potassium is a premium liquid single-component fertiliser, an essential supplement for every grower. Its high potassium concentration effectively supports the vitality of your plants, from the phase of intensive growth right through to a bountiful harvest.

This special supplement ensures that your annual plants, vegetables such as tomatoes and chilli, herbs or strawberries achieve optimal strength, resilience and production of flowers and fruits. It is the ideal choice for those looking for targeted nutrition to maximise yields and crop quality.

Why potassium is essential for your plants

  • Strengthening plant structure: potassium is key to the strength and stability of the plant, strengthens cell walls and increases its resistance to stress and external influences.
  • Energy metabolism: it is essential for the formation of carbohydrates and proteins, which are the building blocks for growth and development.
  • Effective water management: potassium regulates water management in the plant and ensures optimal transport of nutrients and water to all parts.
  • Development of flowers and fruits: it plays a crucial role in the flowering and ripening phase, supporting the formation of large, healthy flowers and quality fruits.

Targeted support for your growing systems

Canna Mono Potassium is designed for direct absorption by plants, which guarantees a fast and effective onset of action. Whether you grow in soil, coco or a hydroponic system, this fertiliser integrates easily into your nutrition plan and ensures that your plants get exactly what they need.

It successfully addresses potassium deficiency, which often appears as yellowing leaves and necrotic spots. At the same time, it serves as an excellent supplementary fertiliser for overall growth strengthening and flowering stimulation. If you are looking for a ready-made blend of potassium and phosphorus directly for the flowering phase, consider PK 13/14.

Dosage and use

  • Standard dosage: add 1-2 ml per 1 litre of water.
  • In case of potassium deficiency: use 10-20 ml per 10 litres of water (equivalent to 1-2 ml/l).
  • Important notice: as this is a highly concentrated fertiliser, always check the pH level of your growing solution. Mono Potassium increases the pH of the growing medium, which may require adjustment. Shake the bottle thoroughly before use.
  • Overdosing warning: excessive doses of potassium can lead to a deficiency of calcium or magnesium (top them up with Mono Ca or Mono MgO) and to acidification of the root zone. Be careful when determining the dosage - overdosing can be harmful to the plant.
  • Storage: store closed, in a dark and frost-proof place, out of reach of children.

Frequently asked questions

When and how much Mono K (potassium) should be dosed?

Normally 1-2 ml per 1 litre of water, in case of confirmed potassium deficiency 10-20 ml per 10 litres of water.

Does Mono K affect the pH of the nutrient solution?

Yes, it increases the pH of the growing medium - after adding it, the pH should therefore be checked and adjusted if necessary.

What is the risk of potassium overdosing?

It can lead to a deficiency of calcium or magnesium and to acidification of the root zone - top up with Mono Ca or Mono MgO and dose carefully.

Exact dosage for individual ranges can be found in the Canna dosage table.
