Boveda is a unique way of maintaining constant humidity in a sealed container. Inside the sachet is a special salt that can keep humidity at 62%. Boveda 62% uses a mixture of potassium citrate and acetate. The sachet works differently depending on the conditions: if the humidity in its surroundings is higher, it absorbs and binds water; if the humidity is lower, it is able to release water. The packaging is made of a unique material that works similarly to reverse osmosis. It can absorb and release water molecules, while the salt remains inside and impurities stay out. Thanks to this, Boveda products are able to perfectly maintain and control humidity in both directions in a sealed container.

Boveda 62% ensures optimal constant humidity of 62% for well-dried herbs in a sealed container for 3 to 4 months. Before use, remove only the plastic outer packaging, place the sachet in the container with the herbs and close it as tightly as possible. Please note that Boveda is not intended for drying damp and not fully dried herbs.

Using Boveda products is simple. Just remove the protective plastic outer packaging, place the sachet in the container and close it. When the sachet is exhausted, the gel contents harden. Simply replace it with a new one.

The lifespan of Boveda sachets depends on several factors. Lifespan is shortened mainly with poorly dried herbs, whether too little or too much. Lifespan is also reduced by frequent opening of the container, when the optimal microclimate is disturbed.
