BioTabs Fertilisers

BioTabs is an innovative Dutch research company and manufacturer of organic fertilisers and soil conditioners. This company has an interesting story, as it originally produced purely mineral fertilisers. After 25 years of chemical growing, it began testing cultivation methods and new products to BIO standards. This was a complete turning point for the company’s development.

The abundant harvest gave the experts working for today’s BioTabs a taste of unprecedented flavour and aroma, the result of methods that are gentle on plants and the environment. The company’s future direction was therefore clear: to find and adopt the best methods of organic growing inspired by nature.

With BioTabs, growing is simple. There is no need to measure pH, EC or gradually dose fertilisers. You are feeding the soil, not the plant.

According to BioTabs, preparation is the most important part. The simplest way to use their fertilisers is the Guerrilla range - when planting, you enrich the soil with Guerrilla Tabs tablets, which gradually release nutrients. Further nutrition is provided by the liquid Guerrilla Juice. And otherwise, you just water.

A more comprehensive approach to nutrition is based on soil preparation, the use of beneficial microorganisms and, if necessary, light flowering stimulation. Nature takes care of itself; all that remains for you is to harvest the results and be amazed by the beautiful aroma and taste of the fruits.

At the start of the growing cycle, you prepare the substrate (soil or coco) by mixing in the organic soil conditioner Startrex, which increases fertility and adds beneficial bacteria and fulvic acids (it is also recommended to add Silicium Flash with a high silicon content to increase the plant’s resistance). Then you plant the plant in the hole, into which you add a few grams of Mycotrex with a high content of mycorrhizal fungi that support the development of the root system. You fertilise the soil with a BioTabs tablet, which gradually releases all the necessary nutrients, or you can also add Bactrex with beneficial bacteria. 

And what next? Well, just water again.

If you want to support the plants, you can increase the bacterial colonies once every two weeks with more Bactrex and feed them with sweet Orgatrex. You can stimulate flowering with the classic liquid Bio PK 5-8 or supply phosphorus and potassium with compost tea. If something goes wrong, Boom Boom Spray will strengthen the plants.
