This version has no drainage holes in the base. Beware of overwatering.

You can comfortably place any growing medium in the black tray; for microgreens, we recommend:

- HempFlax hemp fibre - fully compostable mats made from hemp fibres
- Grodan Cress Plate Microgreens growing mat - growing medium made from mineral wool developed specifically for microgreens cultivation

Alternatively, you can also use, for example, cut non-woven fabric
