AutoPot Auto8 package - accessory package (AQUAvalve5, 9 mm)

Service package for the Auto8 self-watering tray system. It contains the AQUAvalve5 valve, 9 mm distribution and top cover for restoring or expanding the tray system. It is used for a setup with eight plants on a shared flood tray.

How irrigation works

The entire setup is operated by one AQUAvalve5 valve - the Auto8 tray system does not have a valve for each plant, but one shared flood tray for eight plants. After connection to the tank, the valve opens the inlet and lets the tray fill with water to the preset level of 20 mm - by gravity only, without pumps, mains pressure, electricity or timers. As long as the plants do not use up the water in the tray, AQUAvalve5 does not allow replenishment, so the plants go through a wet and dry cycle that supports healthy roots. After the tray is emptied, the process repeats.

Compatibility

The package is intended for the Auto8 tray system with AQUAvalve5 valve and 9 mm distribution. Tray systems share one large flood tray for multiple plants; a faster irrigation supply is available.
