The AirDome is designed to increase the amount of air in the flower pot. It connects to a water pump and sends air through the nutrient solution at the bottom of the flowerpot, aerating the roots. Using an AirDome can increase your yields by up to 130% (the experiment was done with Luffa plants, common varieties usually have an increase of about 30%).

It's very easy to install - simply place it on the bottom of the flowerpot before planting, connect it to an air pump and cover it with a layer of hydroton. In an AutoPot system, the bottom of the pot is filled with water when the plants need irrigation. The AirDome aerates the water and the substrate, which makes the roots healthier and improves water and nutrient uptake.  

Using the AirDome is highly beneficial to the health of the plants and increases the yields.

If using AirDomes in large systems, consider using larger pumps that allow you to connect 16mm pipe (standard hosepipe). Mirror your water supply and reduce the pipe to 6mm at each AirDome connection using AutoPot fittings. Never blow cold air into the root zone, only warm air.
