The AQUAbox is a self-watering system for narrow containers like window boxes, planter boxes and planter bags.

The AQUAbox Straight waters your plants using the AQUAvalve technology and capillary action. It's a simple and elegant way to keep your plants happy even when you're gone. It doesn't need any pumps or timers - the system uses smart physics instead of electricity. The irrigation system is incredibly easy to install.

The AQUAbox has an AQUAvalve in its centre (connected to a water source - a tank or a barrel), which directs the irrigation. It provides the plants with the exact amount of water they need. The AQUAbox then uses cleverly placed capillary mats to distribute the water on an area of 1,2m². No water wasted!

The capillary mats should be replaced during every vegetative period.

How to use and set up the AQUAbox? There are two ways:

1. You can place the AQUAbox directly into the substrate in the middle of the container. If you decide to set it up this way, you have to cut the capillary mat in the middle and attach each half to a side of the AQUAbox (this option is demonstrated in the video).

2. Another option is to put the AQUAbox outside the container and insert one side of the capillary mat into it. Afterwards, place the capillary mat across the entire planting container.

No matter where the AQUAbox is, the capillary mat should incline slightly. Finally, connect the AQUAbox to the water tank. And you're done! The rest happens on its own. The plants will be watered according to their needs, and their roots will grow in the direction of the mat.
