How to use the E300 Pro metre

Measurement with this device is quick and intuitive:

1. Connect the electrode PIN connector to the EC metre.
2. Before each measurement, rinse the electrode with clean water and gently dry it.
3. Switch on the device by pressing the On/Off button.
4. Immerse the electrode in a soft, sufficiently moist substrate or liquid. Sufficient moisture is key for correct measurement.
5. Wait until the value on the display stabilises.
6. To temporarily store the value, press the HOLD button. Before the next measurement, press it again to deactivate it.
7. After use, always rinse the electrode thoroughly with clean water so that no residue remains on it.

Calibration of the EC metre in mS/cm modeCalibration of the EC metre in mS/cm mode
1. Switch on the metre by pressing the On/Off button.
2. Use the MODE button to switch the display to EC.
3. Gently clean the electrode with distilled water and dry it.
4. Insert the metre into the calibration solution with the required EC value.
5. Press and hold the CAL button for 5 seconds until the CAL symbol starts flashing at the top of the display.
6. Use the up / down buttons to set the value of the calibration solution.
7. Once the correct value is set, press the On/Off button to confirm the calibration. The device will return to normal mode and the calibration is complete.
8. Rinse the metre with clean water.
