This is a revolutionary technology for producing growing containers and a subsequent modern method of growing plants. The container design limits the spiral growth of roots. The root system grows and develops radially. The surface of the container has outward-facing projections with openings, allowing air to reach the roots. Air prevents the roots from growing beyond the root ball, so a tangle of roots does not form at the bottom and sides of the growing container. The continuous process based on this principle results in a plant with a central, strong root system throughout the volume of the root ball and a robust stem.

Thanks to these unique properties of the Air-Pot container, we achieve a root ball twice the size while using less substrate than with standard containers. Air-Pot shortens the cultivation period, reducing the number of transplants compared with conventional pot growing. In addition, thanks to the simple disassembly of the Air-Pot, transplanting plants is easier and safer. When growing using this new method, the gardener must familiarise themselves with all the differences from conventional cultivation, such as higher substrate moisture when planting, sufficient watering during cultivation and further handling, so that growing using this method achieves the expected effect.

Air-Pot consists of several parts – a cut-to-size annulus (“collar”), plastic connecting screws and a grid base.
Air-Pots are reusable and recyclable.
