AC Infinity CLOUDLINE S8 is a 200 mm inline fan with an airflow of 1371 m3/h (807 CFM) - among CLOUDLINE models with a wired controller, it offers performance above the level of smaller 100-150 mm diameters, designed for large tents, multiple plants in one space, or a smaller room used as a grow room.

Included controller

The wired 10-speed controller is connected to the fan by a 3.05 m (120 in) cable, and the power cable to the socket measures 2.44 m (96 in). With the S8 controller it works independently, without an app. The control cable is part of the UIS™ platform and, instead of the controller, it can be plugged directly into the UIS port of a smart controller (Controller 69 Pro or AI+, sold separately) for temperature, humidity and VPD control and app operation. CLOUDLINE is UIS-native, so no adapter is needed.

Design for high static pressure

The PWM-controlled EC motor maintains quiet operation even at high output. The mixed-flow design with a stator blade maintains a static pressure of 746 Pa, so the fan keeps its airflow even in a setup with a filter and longer ducting. The double ball bearings have a service life of 67,000 hours, the motor housing can be detached for cleaning, and the IP44 rating protects against dust and splashing water.

Which fan and diameter should I choose for a large tent?
Base it on the room volume: multiply the volume in m3 (width x depth x height) by 60, add the resistance of accessories (filter approx. +60 %, ducting +20 %, silencer +20 %, LED heat up to +50 %) and add a +25 % reserve. For large tents and multiple plants in one space, the calculation often comes out at 200 mm - the S8 with 1371 m3/h then covers the result with reserve.

Which filter should I choose for the CLOUDLINE S8?
A filter of the same 200 mm diameter (DCF8, 1309 m3/h). For this diameter the filter is rated slightly lower than the fan (1371 m3/h) - it is the only one of the five CLOUDLINE diameters where this is the case; the filter in the ducting also reduces the actual airflow of the setup (carbon resistance), so the fan output provides the reserve.

Does the S8 work without an app?
Yes, with the included wired 10-step controller it runs fully independently. For app control and VPD control, the control cable can be plugged into the UIS port of a smart controller (69 Pro or AI+) instead of the controller.
