When 200 mm is no longer enough

AC Infinity CLOUDLINE S10 is an inline fan for 250 mm ducting with an airflow of 2040 m3/h (1201 CFM) - significantly above the 200 mm S8 model (1371 m3/h). It is designed for grow rooms and spaces where the air requirement is close to or exceeds the capacity of a 200 mm setup, or for connecting multiple tents to a single extract.

Controller and power supply

The wired 10-speed controller is connected to the fan by a 3.05 m (120 in) cable, and the power cable to the socket measures 2.44 m (96 in). From this model upwards, the controller power is additionally supplied via an external mains adapter (Wall Adapter Input 100-120V AC). It works independently with the S10 controller; the control cable can instead be plugged directly into the UIS port of a smart controller (Controller 69 Pro or AI+, sold separately) for VPD-based control and app control. CLOUDLINE is UIS-native and does not need an adapter for connection.

Construction for high performance

The PWM-controlled EC motor maintains smooth operation even at this output. Static pressure of 1059 Pa - the highest in the entire CLOUDLINE range - means the fan maintains airflow even in more demanding setups with a filter and longer ducting. Double ball bearings have a service life of 67,000 hours, installation is possible both horizontally and vertically, and IP44 protection guards against dust and splashing water.

Frequently asked questions

When should you choose 250 mm (S10) instead of 200 mm (S8)?
The sizing calculation result decides: multiply the room volume in m3 by 60, add the resistance of accessories (filter +60 %, ducting +20 %, silencer +20 %, LED heat up to +50 %) and a +25 % reserve. If the resulting figure exceeds what the S8 (1371 m3/h) covers with reserve, switch to the S10 (2040 m3/h) - typically for grow rooms, multiple connected tents or higher lighting.

What room volume is the CLOUDLINE S10 designed for?
The manufacturer does not provide a direct table, only a calculation based on volume (see formula above). With an airflow of 2040 m3/h, the S10, after deducting reserve and accessory resistance, covers a significantly larger volume than 200 mm models - roughly grow rooms or several connected tents on one extract.

Which filter should you choose for the S10?
A filter of the same 250 mm diameter (DCF10, max. 2122 m3/h). A filter in the duct reduces the actual airflow of the setup (carbon resistance) - the reserve is therefore addressed by choosing a fan with sufficient output.
