A coupler that dampens vibrations directly at the duct joint

AC Infinity Noise Reduction Clamp RCA4 is a rubber coupler (duct coupler) for connecting two ends of ventilation ducting with a diameter of 4" (10.2 cm). It fits onto the ports of a fan, carbon filter, grille or damper in smaller 100mm systems and creates an airtight connection - the flexible nitrile rubber also absorbs sound waves and vibrations that are transferred from the fan into the airflow in the ducting.

Material and fastening

The body of the coupler is made of NBR grade 65A nitrile rubber in matt black - flexible, durable and easy to stretch over ports and pipes. Fastening is provided by two adjustable stainless steel hose clamps with a worm drive lock, whose head can be tightened with either a Phillips or flat-head screwdriver.

Is it the same as a silencer?
No. RCA4 is a coupler that seals and dampens vibrations in one specific duct joint. The DSA4 duct silencer is a separate part inserted into the duct run, which reduces the noise of moving air.
