Root protection when the heat hits

The grower cares for the roots throughout the season, and it is precisely on hot days that they are most vulnerable - warm air encourages the spread of moulds and pathogens such as Pythium, Fusarium or Verticillium, which can cause damage in hydroponics literally overnight. Terra Aquatica StreptoLogic is a natural, 100% biological root protector that prevents these problems.

A biostimulant that works with nature

StreptoLogic is a biostimulant - it uses natural sources to produce phytohormones, fix iron and stimulate the root system. At the same time, it increases the plant's resistance to attack by fungi and pathogenic bacteria, which multiply faster in warm conditions. Compared with UV sterilizers and fungicides, it is easy to use and does not require a biofilter - the bacteria attach directly to the roots. The product is suitable for organic farming (EU 2018/848, 2021/1165).

How and when to dose StreptoLogic

StreptoLogic works best as a preventive measure, ideally applied before the arrival of hot weather. In hydroponics, coco and soil, add 1 g per 10 l of water or nutrient solution and repeat every 6 to 8 weeks; in open soil, 0.5 kg per hectare, maximum twice a year. As with all aerobic microorganisms, the better the oxygenation and the more stable the pH, temperature and humidity, the more effective StreptoLogic is. It contains siliceous earth, which adds silicon and forms deposits - in systems with thin capillaries, mix the solution with water and the pump switched on for 24 hours, then replace it and compost the deposit; without oxygenation, do not leave it for longer than a day. StreptoLogic is the modern successor to the earlier TrikoLogic S combination; for the breakdown of organic matter, supplement it with Trikologic and for root start-up with AzoLogic.
