A control panel, or distribution board, handles the automatic operation of a wide range of appliances, from power supply to switching. The electrical distribution cabinet is mounted on a surface or on a wall and, depending on its parameters and workmanship, can be used to regulate lighting, ventilation or, for example, heating. Control panels are, of course, used to distribute electrical power and switch appliances; in the grow room, they are mainly used as automatic control for lights, ventilation or heating.
When it comes to switching lighting, they can easily handle 12 600W discharge lamps.
Distribution boards from Malapa also cope with higher loads, and for some you can buy additional distribution boards. This allows you to control 6 appliances on the main unit, plus 15 appliances on the additional distribution board. This lets you set up almost everything from lighting and ventilation to CO2 dosing or irrigation.
On some models, it is also possible to set automatic switching of an additional socket for heating (the "night" socket, which switches on when the others are off). Some distribution boards from Czech Malapa have both a "night" socket and a socket that is permanently live.
