A clear choice for growers who use powerful fans and at the same time need the most discreet ventilation operation possible.
The flexible non-flammable hose can be easily bent and then holds its shape well, so you can install it without any problem exactly as needed.
The anti-allergenic insulation used is a more modern, non-irritating alternative to glass wool. It perfectly ensures reliable noise damping and 100% discreet operation. In addition, there is no risk that pieces of glass wool will get into the growing area or room, as is sometimes the case with Sonoflex ducting. The difference is also in the acoustic insulation itself, whose effectiveness is twice as high!!!
The duct diameters are approximate because of the thick insulation layer. However, you can always connect the nearest standard size to the duct - for example, you can connect a 250 mm flange to 254 mm ducting without any problem.
PHONICTRAP offers full compatibility with all fans and odour filters with the corresponding flange diameter.
TIP: Installing a noise silencer on the fan will definitely help with discreet ventilation operation.

Why is PhonicTrap quieter than standard ducting?
Instead of glass wool, it uses multi-layer anti-allergenic insulation that absorbs twice as much noise as Sonoflex sound-insulated ducting. It reduces both the sound of flowing air and fan vibrations to a minimum - an ideal solution for flats where operation needs to be as quiet as possible.
How do you choose the correct PhonicTrap diameter?
Follow the flange diameter of your fan and odour filter. Because of the thick insulation, PhonicTrap diameters are approximate - you connect the nearest standard size flange to them (for example, a 250 mm flange to 254 mm ducting). Diameters from 102 to 315 mm are available.
Will the insulation from PhonicTrap get into the growing area?
No. Unlike glass-wool ducting, PhonicTrap insulation is anti-allergenic and non-irritating, so there is no risk of pieces breaking off into the air in the tent or room. The hose is also non-flammable and holds its shape well.
