Metrop Root+ is a concentrated root stimulator for the start of cultivation. It is intended for growers who want to build a strong, dense root system from the first days - the more roots there are, the more nutrients the plant will absorb.

How Metrop Root+ works

Root+ is based on enzymes, not on colourants or ballast. It contains a high-quality plant extract with stimulating enzymes (oxidoreductases, transferases and ligases) and vitamins; the enzymes speed up ion transfer and the binding of minerals to organic compounds and increase the bioavailability of zinc, calcium, magnesium and iron. The result is faster formation of fine root hairs and a solid root base. The high phosphorus content is also emphasised, which supports the growth phase.

Dosing and use

Apply Root+ from the very first day of growth and dose it daily for roughly three weeks, until the roots get going. For hydroponics and substrates, dose max. 80 ml per 100 l of water; we recommend 80 ml/100 l in the first two weeks of the cycle. Beware of overdosing - more does not mean better. One litre is enough for approximately 1,250 litres of watering solution.

What to combine Root+ with

At the start, combine it with the growth Metrop MR1 and the calcium Metrop Calgreen. As always, add Calgreen to the tank last, into slightly acidified water (pH of the mix up to 6.5). As soon as the plant moves into flowering, the root phase is replaced by the flowering Metrop MR2. You can also use Root+ for mother plants together with Metrop MAM8.

How long should I use Root+?

How much Root+ should I dose so I do not overdose?

For hydroponics and substrates, do not exceed 80 ml per 100 l of water. The stimulator is concentrated, so more will not build more roots, it will rather do harm, so do not overdose it. Dose with a measuring cup and watch how the plant reacts.

Can I use Root+ in hydroponics?

Yes, Root+ works in soil, coco and hydroponics always at the start of growth. In hydroponics, add it to the reservoir at a dose of up to 80 ml per 100 l and combine it with the basic growth nutrition MR1.
