Metrop Set 5L is the large-volume version of the complete Metrop programme - five concentrated fertilisers in five-litre canisters (5x 5 l) at a discounted price. It is for growers with a large grow room or for those who run cycle after cycle and want to keep a long-term supply so nutrition does not run out in the middle of flowering.

What is in the set

Five five-litre packs cover the entire growing cycle:

• Metrop MR1 - growth fertiliser (NPK 10-40-20) for vegetative growth and pre-flowering;
• Metrop MR2 - flowering fertiliser (NPK 10-20-40) for the flowering stage;
• Metrop Root+ - root stimulator for the start of growth;
• Metrop AminoXtrem Bloom - amino stimulator for growth and flowering;
• Metrop Calgreen - calcium nitrate as a companion throughout the entire cycle.

How the programme works

The order is the same as with the smaller sets: at the start, Root+ and growth MR1 for roots and tissues, then MR2 takes over in flowering, AminoXtrem accompanies the plant throughout the whole cycle, and Calgreen supplies calcium. Always add Calgreen to the tank last, into slightly acidified water (pH mix up to 6.5), so the calcium does not precipitate with phosphorus. In large tanks, pay even more attention to the mixing order and EC control.

Who the five-litre set is for

Five-litre canisters are the most economical choice per litre - they make sense where consumption is counted and buying small bottles would be unnecessarily expensive. Metrop fertilisers are highly concentrated (1 litre of growth MR1 is enough for roughly 2,000 litres of nutrient solution), so the five-litre pack covers a large area and several cycles in a row. If you are just starting out or growing on a small scale, choose the 5x 1L set or the Starter Set 5x 250 ml instead.
