The LUMii BLACK 720W LED 6-BAR Fixture is a lightweight fixture which can be installed within minutes. It's powered by the LUMii Black 600W dimmable digital ballast (sold separately), which allows you to dim the light in steps of 250W, 400W, 600W and 600W BOOST - to provide maximum possible light output. The ballast can be installed directly on the light fixture or slightly further away for easy access.
The fixture produces full-spectrum light suitable for the vegetative as well as for the flowering phase. Its PPF of 1870 µmol/s is better than the PPF of the typical 1000W HPS lamp.
The construction of The LUMii BLACK 720W LED 6-BAR Fixture is optimised for even light distribution and to lower the risks of burning the plants.

The product has two options: one includes the LUMii Black 600W dimmable digital ballast necessary for the light to operate, and one which is only the fixture itself. If you buy the light separately, you will need to get the LUMii Black 600W dimmable digital ballast as well.

Q: Why should I choose LED lighting rather than HID lighting?
A: The advantages of LED lighting are evident. They produce much less heat than HID lamps, so you don't have to adjust the temperature as much. LED lights need much less power than HID lamps, while the output remains the same. Some LED lights allow the user to adjust the light spectrum to either the vegetative or flowering phase. Other LED lights (like the LUMii BLACK) provide full-spectrum light suited to both growth phases, which is not always the case with HID lamps. Also, HID lamps provide light from a single point, no matter how well it's reflected, while LEDs light the growing area more evenly.
Q: At what height should I hang my LUMii BLACK LED Fixture?
A: We recommend you hang your fixture on the adjustable LUMii Rope Ratchets and set the fixture at around 30-50cm (minimum 15cm) above the canopy, adjusting the height as your plants grow. If the light is too intense and the plants show signs of stress, raise the fixture a little, or select a lower power setting on the ballast.
Q: Where should I place the LUMii BLACK 600W Electronic Ballast to power the LED Fixture?
A: There are 2 options:
1. The Ballast may be attached to the LED Fixture using the brackets and fixings supplied.
2. The Ballast may be positioned away (up to 10M) from the LED Fixture using the LUMii Extension/ Link Lead.
Option 1 is simpler and requires no additional components. However, the heat emitted by the ballast will affect the ambient temperature during the light / growing period. For option 2, you will need to purchase the LUMii Extension/ Link Leads (see user manual for more information). On the other hand, if the ballast is away from the light (or even outside the grow tent), the heat management of the growing environment will be easier. It also allows you to control the ballast and fixture without entering the tent and disturbing the environment.
