It is also possible to increase the CO2 concentration around plants without a pressurised cylinder or generator - this is exactly what the liquid products Liquid CO2 are for. These are biostimulants with nanoparticles that induce a similar effect in the plant as a real increase in CO2 in the air of the growing space.
The advantage over classic CO2 generators or pressurised cylinders is ease of use - no installation or monitoring of gas concentration in an enclosed space is required. Products such as CO2 Effect LED are also tailored directly for use with LED lighting, where classic CO2 enrichment by combustion may not make as much sense as it does with discharge lamps.
Liquid CO2 is applied to irrigation water or as a spray according to the manufacturer's instructions - it is an addition to regular nutrition, not a replacement for basic fertilisers.
