Maxibright Quantum PAR metre: measure how much light plants really receive
A PAR metre is a measuring instrument for growers who want to know the actual light intensity in their tent instead of figures from a catalogue. The quantum sensor measures PAR and PPFD - that is, photosynthetically usable light falling on plants - in a range from 0 to 3999 µmol/m2/s with repeatability of ±1 µmol/m2/s. The MBPAR01 model measures independently of the lighting manufacturer, so you can compare different lamps on the same basis and verify whether the declared output matches reality.
What the PAR metre is for
Without measuring, you are guessing - with a PAR metre, you know. This is the light that plants actually use for photosynthesis. Will a PAR metre measure light from any light?
