Grodan offers a wide range of substrate slabs for vegetables, specifically for tomatoes, cucumbers, sweet peppers and aubergine crops, as well as for floriculture. Grodan has adapted its substrate range and developed a wide variety of innovative growing slabs based on the cultivation characteristics specific to these crops and flowers.

Grodan Gro cubes 1 x 1 x 1 cm have excellent absorption properties and ensure an excellent water-to-air ratio for plant roots. They are made of ROCKWOOL - basalt wool of the highest quality. It is suitable for growing plants in container pots. This substrate has a consistently high air content, which allows roots to grow healthily. Water is easily accessible in Grodan Gro, and its content is 50 - 55 %, which means that in 10 l of substrate there is approximately 5 l of water.

The cubes are sold by the litre. The price is stated per litre of cubes measuring 1 x 1 x 1 cm.
