Guano is a blend of Guanokalong granules and humic acids. Guanokalong products come from naturally fermented bat droppings from caves in Madagascar and Indonesia.

Guanokalong is a rich source of organic nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, magnesium, calcium, enzymes and other organic substances. The most important element is phosphorus. Phosphorus plays a significant role in how plants grow and function.

Seedlings and roots grow faster and fruits form optimally if there is sufficient phosphorus present in the soil. Humic acids are made from 100% Leonardite, or highly oxidised lignite. Guanokalong powder acts as a base fertiliser and humic acids help plants absorb various available elements more quickly.

Guano black releases nutrients gradually, over a period of approx. 3 to 6 months, making root burn almost impossible.

Unique enzymes and a high calcium and magnesium content stimulate the life of microorganisms in the soil. Microbial life in the soil helps convert phosphorus into nutrients that can be absorbed by the plant.

For complete and thorough fertilisation of the propagation substrate and / or garden, it is suitable to combine Guano black with other fertilisers. Healthy soil shows the correct balance between individual nutrients and thriving microbial life.

When used in soil, the following area can be fertilised:
- 1 kg is suitable for 2 to 4 m2
- when used in pots and / or seed trays, mix 2 scoops of 50 grams of Guano black into 15 litres of growing medium or soil
- at a later stage, sprinkle the soil with Guano black as needed and rake in well
- when used in pots, sprinkle the soil and water it so that it soaks in well
