GSE controller for EC fan – temperature, min. and max. speed

The simple GSE controller for EC fans monitors and regulates fan speed. The ideal temperature, as well as the lowest and highest possible fan speed, can be set. The device is not complicated to use – it has only three knobs. The minimum speed can be set from 0 to 100%, while the maximum speed can be set from 50 to 100%. The temperature can be continuously adjusted from 20 to 30 °C with a fixed hysteresis of 2 °C. 

As soon as the sensor detects that the temperature has risen to 2 °C below the optimum, it starts gradually increasing the fan speed. Once the ideal temperature is reached, it reduces the fan output until it returns to the minimum value. The fan speed will never increase beyond the set maximum speed.

Use the 3-pole jack to connect the fan to the controller. The controller can be set to use either a 0–10 V or PWM signal. The fan itself can be used to power the controller if it supports a PWM signal, but we recommend using the included adapter instead.

The package includes a temperature probe with a four-metre cable.
