Athena Roots Culture Media 750 ml is a specially developed culture medium intended for plant propagation using the Tissue Culture (tissue culture) method. Its composition supports callus formation, root system development and the establishment of new mother plants under sterile laboratory conditions.

The medium is part of the professional Athena Culture Line range and offers simple preparation without the need to measure individual components separately. It contains a pre-prepared mixture of the necessary components, including sugars and a culture medium base. To prepare it, simply add reverse osmosis (RO) water and then sterilise the medium in an autoclave.

Instructions for use

2. Add reverse osmosis (RO) water to a total volume of 750 ml.
3. Mix or shake thoroughly until the mixture has completely dissolved.
4. Sterilise the prepared medium in an autoclave.
5. After sterilisation, divide the medium into suitable Athena Culture Vessel or Utility Vessel culture vessels.
6. Place the plant material into the prepared culture medium under sterile conditions.

Warning: When handling the culture medium and plant material, it is essential to follow sterile working procedures. The manufacturer recommends carrying out the individual steps under an Athena Flow Hood laminar flow hood to minimise the risk of contamination.
