Duct adapters, also called reducers, connect two parts of a ventilation system that have different duct diameters. Typically, this is the situation when a fan has a different spigot diameter than the hose you want to connect to it, or when it is necessary to connect a filter with smaller ducting.
Our range includes reducers in metal and plastic versions. Metal duct adapters are more robust and are suitable where the joint will be exposed to higher airflow or greater stress, while plastic ones are a lighter and cheaper option for less demanding setups. The size range covers practically all common diameters used in grow rooms, from 100 mm up to 400 mm, including intermediate sizes such as 125, 150, 160, 200, 250, 315 or 355 mm.
When choosing, it is essential to know both diameters you want to connect - the diameter on the fan or motor side and the diameter on the hose or filter side. The adapter is then simply fitted onto both sides and, if necessary, secured with a cable tie or hose clamp for an airtight connection.
