Product detailed description
Maxibright Daylight Controller: central control of Daylight lights
Daylight Lighting Controller is a control unit for growers who want to control multiple Maxibright Daylight lights from one place. Using iLink ports, you connect the lights in a chain and control them in two independent zones A and B - times, intensity and sunrise and sunset simulation. The unit handles 400 HID ballasts or 100 LED controllers.
Two independent zones A and B
The controller controls two separate zones, so in one space you can have two groups of lights on different modes - for example vegetation and flowering side by side. You can connect a maximum of 200 HID ballasts or 50 LED controllers to one zone. Each zone has its own timing and intensity settings.
Timing, sunrise and sunset
The 24-hour timer switches the lights on and off according to your schedule. The sunrise and sunset function smoothly ramps the light up and down over 0-30 minutes, so the plants do not move abruptly between darkness and full power. In addition, thermostat-controlled safety dimming automatically reduces output according to temperature and protects the plants from overheating.
LED and HID dimming range
You can dim LED controllers in 1% steps in the 20-100% range, HID ballasts in the 50-100% range. The unit works as an iLink ballast for 315W CMH, 480W, 660W and 1030W LED, so it covers the usual lighting setup in the grow room.

Which lights the controller is suitable for
The unit is designed for the Maxibright Daylight range - you can connect and centrally control lights such as Daylight PRO 300W or Daylight PRO 200W, which have iLink control. For the Varidrive range with a 0-10V interface, there is a separate Universal Lighting Controller.
Frequently asked questions
Which lights does the Daylight Controller work with?
It is designed for the Maxibright Daylight range with iLink control. Using iLink ports, you connect the lights in a chain and control them from two zones. The unit works as an iLink ballast for 315W CMH, 480W, 660W and 1030W LED and handles 400 HID ballasts or 100 LED controllers. For lights in the Varidrive range with a 0-10V interface, a different controller is used.
How many lights can I connect to the controller?
A total of 400 HID ballasts or 100 LED controllers, divided into two independent zones. You can connect a maximum of 200 HID ballasts or 50 LED controllers to one zone. Each zone has its own timing and intensity settings, so two groups of lights can run in different modes.
What is the sunrise and sunset function for?
It smoothly ramps the light up and down over 0-30 minutes instead of switching on and off abruptly. The plants therefore move gradually between darkness and light, which better matches natural conditions. It is complemented by thermostat-controlled safety dimming, which automatically reduces output at high temperatures.
