Dimlux Expert Series MK-II 1000/1250W DE/EL, California Spec complete fixture
Code: GMP-2-534Product detailed description
Dimlux Expert Series 1000/1250 W MKII DE EL UHF DXO California Spec is the world's first complete HPS fixture to meet California Energy Code 2022/2023, which requires a minimum photosynthetic photon efficacy (PPE) of 2.1 µmol/J. It includes the new Dimlux Xtreme Output (DXO) CaliSpec HPS 400 V 1000/1250 W DE discharge lamp with 95% PAR output retention after 10,000 hours of operation. The MKII ballast is 30% more compact and lighter than the previous Expert Series generation.

Frequently asked questions
- What is the overdrive / Boost function?
- The ballast enables the discharge lamp to operate at up to 1250 W (Boost), with power consumption increasing to 1290 W. The DXO CaliSpec discharge lamp is the only one on the market specifically designed for dimming and Boost without loss of PAR output.
- Can the reflector be replaced?
- Yes, the standard Ultra Optics Hybrid 98 can easily be exchanged for the Ultra Optics Wide 98 or Ultra Optics Deep 98 – all three have 98% efficiency.
