Coconut fibre with perlite for maximum aeration

Coco Fibre Perlite from Terra Aquatica is a coconut substrate in a ratio of 75 % coconut and 25 % perlite. The added perlite ensures better drainage and oxygenation of the root zone than pure coconut - the solution drains away better and the roots breathe.

Why choose a mix with perlite

A quarter of inert perlite makes the substrate an exceptionally airy and well-drained medium. This is especially useful where a lot of solution flows through - in the Ebb&Grow system, in self-watering pots and in drip systems. The roots do not remain in waterlogged substrate and grow better.

Clean start and long service life

Just like pure coconut, this mix is guaranteed free of weeds, pests and disease germs and you can use it straight from the bag without rinsing. Coconut fibre lasts for up to three growing cycles and, after use, improves the structure of garden soil.

Fertilisation and pH
