The Mother Nature CO2 Generator is a unique product designed to increase the CO2 concentration in your growing environment.

CO2 levels in the atmosphere are generally 412 PPM. The MotherNature CO2 generator can instantly double the PPM of your growing environment to at least 800 ppm. CO2 in the generator is produced naturally using various natural bacteria and specially treated manure. CO2 is heavier than air, but it moves easily within your growing environment. The bacteria and manure are most active and produce the most CO2 at temperatures of 22 degrees Celsius. If you are not currently using the product, store it optimally at a temperature of 15 degrees Celsius.

Plants need CO2 only during the daylight period - you can easily connect the MotherNature CO2 generator to a timer so that it works only during daylight. During the “night” phase, the CO2-producing bacteria come to life and prepare a larger amount of CO2 for release back into your growing environment during the next daylight phase.

5 l variant - for boxes approx. up to 120x120 cm

Both variants are supplied without an air pump, which can be purchased separately. Any pump with an air flow rate of 1.3-1.6 l/h can be used.

We recommend: BOYU S500 air pump, 240 l/h

Instructions for use

CO2 activation - pour 1.25 l of hot water (NOT BOILING WATER) into the 5 l bucket, pour 2.5 l of hot water (NOT BOILING WATER) into the 10 l bucket

OPTION 1 – Simply connect an air pump with one outlet to the lower pipe connected to the MotherNature CO2 generator, then connect a timer so that the MotherNature CO2 generator works only while the lighting is on. Insert the upper tube connected to the MotherNature CO2 Generator into the back of the circulation fan so that the CO2 is distributed evenly throughout the growing environment.

OPTION 2 – Connect an air pump with one outlet to the lower pipe connected to the MotherNature CO2 generator, then plug it into a timer so that the MotherNature CO2 generator works only while the lighting is on. During the daylight phase, the MotherNature CO2 Generator can be set to run for 15 minutes and then switch off for 60 minutes. You can repeat this schedule throughout the entire daylight phase; this should inject sufficiently high concentrations of CO2 into the growing environment. The timer then switches off at night and switches on again during the day.

OPTION 3 (advanced method) - Connect an air pump with one outlet to the lower pipe connected to the MotherNature CO2 Generator, then plug it into a timer so that the MotherNature CO2 generator works only while the lighting is on. Then connect your timer and the MotherNature CO2 generator to a CO2 sensor and set the parameters so that the CO2 sensor switches on the air pump only when CO2 levels fall below the parameters you have set. We recommend setting the sensor so that it activates the hours when CO2 values fall below 650 PPM

NOTE: If you are continuously extracting air from the growing environment, we recommend OPTION 2.

If you are able to control the air extract in your growing environment (for example thanks to air conditioning or another unit), all options are recommended.

With the MotherNature CO2 generator, use only one air pump with a maximum air flow of 1.6 l/minute. Do not use a more powerful air pump! Please note that higher CO2 levels should not be inhaled for long periods.
