The Dimlux CO2 pressure valve uses a solenoid valve to distribute gas as needed. It is powered directly from the CO2 sensor and doses according to users' precise specifications in parts per million, ensuring that perfect levels and CO2 concentration are always maintained in the grow room. How the Dimlux CO2 regulator works:
- this item is part of the Dimlux Maxi Controller system, which works in conjunction with the separately available Dimlux CO2 Sensor
- the sensor gathers information about the carbon dioxide level in the atmosphere around your plants and sends it back to the Dimlux Maxi Controller controller
- from there you can decide on the ideal ppm level (we recommend around 1200 ppm)
- the CO2 regulator will then supply CO2 whenever the levels in the growing area fall below the values set in the settings

This is a much more accurate method of distributing CO2 than simply dosing according to room size, which is quite common. Although there is nothing wrong with that, it is of course always better to be as precise as possible - CO2 can actually be toxic at high concentrations, so incorrect use can be harmful to your plants. The Dimlux system is accurate enough to always keep full control.

How to use the Dimlux CO2 regulator:
- the CO2 regulator is screwed onto your gas cylinder (supplied separately)
- it is powered by the socket located on the front of the separately available Dimlux CO2 Sensor and automatically releases carbon dioxide from the cylinder whenever needed, so your plants will always have access to exactly the right amount for optimal growth
- the ideal CO2 level values in parts per million (ppm) can be changed using the Maxi Controller
- the unit will continue dosing until it reaches the relevant ppm; at that point it stops
