The Smart CO₂  bag is a safe, natural and effective way of providing CO₂ (carbon dioxide) according to your plants' needs. Other methods of adding CO₂, like generators or tanks, can be too expensive and time-consuming. If you hang the bag correctly, it won't need any further maintenance.

Plants use a process called photosynthesis to change water, sunlight and CO₂ into fundamental compounds they need to grow and feed themselves. If there is more CO₂ in their environment, they absorb more of it, which results in faster and more intense growth. Plants absorb CO₂ using roots and small pores on the bottom of the leaves - the so-called stomata used for gas exchange (similar to breathing). If there is more CO₂ available, plants don't have to open stomata as often and as wide, which helps them lose (evaporate) less water. If they open the stomata less, it significantly lowers the probability of absorbing harmful air pollutants.

How does the Smart CO₂ work?
- It contains fungi and organic substrate sufficient for about 4 months.
- Fungi breathe in oxygen and breathe out carbon dioxide, supplying CO₂ 24 hours a day.
- The fungi are a natural, self-sufficient and cost-effective CO₂ source.
- The Smart CO₂ Bag doesn't produce heat or smell.
- Simply hang it and let the fungi do their job.

How to use the Smart CO₂ Bag?
- Hang the bag into the grow room, directly above the plants (you want it to be as close as possible)
- Make several holes into the top of the bag (it needs oxygen to work)
- We recommend using one bag for an area of 1,2x1,2m
- CO₂ is heavier than air and will go down among the plants
- Once you hang the bag, you won't need to make any adjustments or fill the bag
- Use a new bag after about 4 months

The plastic packaging is recyclable.
